Adaeze reports from the Lagos newsroom and covers West African and pan-African cultural movements. Before joining Multiculturas in 2014, she spent eight years at the BBC World Service, where she produced the "Frequencies" series on community radio across the continent. She has filed field reports from 19 countries and edits our annual diaspora index.

Mateo joined Multiculturas as a staff correspondent in 2011 after a decade at Radio Nacional de España. He reports from the Madrid newsroom and covers Iberian, Mediterranean, and Latin American cultural movements, with a long-running interest in Sephardic and Romani diaspora reporting. He helped shape the podcast's field-recording protocol in 2018 and co-edits the show's transcripts.
